Art. In classical decks, this card would be Temperance. The Book of Thoth calls this card the twin of The Lovers, and says it represents the Consummation of the Alchemical Marriage. As the twin of the Lovers, it is the coagula of the solve et coagula maxim, and seems naturally to associate with Binah and the pillar of Severity, despite its placement on the Tree as the path joining Yesod and Tiphareth.
