Gimel (ג)

Gimel, the thirteenth path, connects Kether and Tiphareth. It is the character "G".

Gimel is one of the seven double letters, which represent planets. The double letters are cardinal directions, the faces of the box that is space. Its attributions are:

The Ari teaches that ג connects Binah to Geburah. The Gra teaches that it connects Chokmah to Chesed.

This is the primary path crossing the Abyss, the veil between Briah and Atziluth. (Starting in Kether, it actually crosses two veils, the Presence of the Most High and the Abyss, on its journey.)
