Briah (בריאה) is the creative world, where things are invented. It is the realm of archangels. You'll also find the quintessential Father and Mother here, in their aspects as the Godhead: Chokmah and Binah. Among the Souls:

• Of the four Souls, it is the second highest, Neshamah, the Soul Intuition.
• Of the five Souls, it is both Neshamah and Chiah, the Life-force. Chiah associates with Chokmah, and Neshamah with Binah.

It is separated from other Qabalistic worlds by two veils: above it, the Veil of the Presence of the Most High, and below it the Abyss.

In the Tetragrammaton (יהוה), Briah corresponds to the first Heh, the Window. Its attributions are water, and the Tarot Cups (also its Queens).
