Tau (ת)

Tau, the thirty-second path, connects Yesod and Malkuth. It is the character "T" or "Th".

Tau is one of the seven double letters, which represent planets. The double letters are cardinal directions, the faces of the box that is space. Its attributions are:

Yetsiratic Attribution[2] Administrative Intelligence, because it directs and associates in all their operations the seven planets, each in its own due course.

Tau relates to Aleph in Hebrew as Omega does to Alpha in Greek. (I am the Aleph and the Tau? Eh, I dunno.) The Hebrew word אמת (emeth), constructed of the first, middle, and last letters, means "truth".

(Trivia time: אמת is the word written upon the golem's forehead to activate it. To kill it, one erases the Aleph to leave מת (meth), corpse.)

In space, Tau is the center, the place where all paths meet. As such, in pathworking it is the starting place, the first step we take when stepping out of this world and into the Infinite. Creation flows down from the Creator; so we, the Created, approach the Creator by walking the paths backward from destination to source.
