The Qabalistic Veils

As we ascend or descend the Tree, there are barriers, things that block our perception and need to be crossed in order to shift our consciousness from one level to another. We call these barriers veils, and describe four[1] of them:

• The Presence of the Most High between Atziluth and Briah,
• The Abyss between Briah and Yetzirah,
• Paroketh within Yetzirah, and
• The Profane between Yetzirah and Assiah.
